The 1:30 AM Experiment: Burnt Pizza, Chaos, and the Birth of MOA
Meet Moments of Awareness.
This is the very first broadcast episode of what is now—and was always intended to be—a lifecast of extraordinarily ordinary humans.
In 1996, streaming on the web was technically out of reach, so we used the tools we had: Public Access Television. Back then, we were known as "Peace & Dominico." This was our prototype.
The ultimate goal was always to make MOA a place where artists and thinkers could come to share and collaborate. We envisioned a space—both virtually and physically—where people could discuss whatever they found compelling, debating and exploring with those who shared their interests. We wanted to build a place where we didn't just broadcast, but where we lived and hosted life.
It has taken 30 years for the technology to catch up to the vision, but we are finally here.
The wheels still turn.
